Do You Want to Build a...Snow Monster?

With all the snow on the ground, I decided to get creative with a craft for M2 to do. I thought it would be fun to make a snow monster, complete with pom poms and glitter glue, which M2 loves. What kid doesn't love glitter? It's simple, easy to put together, and cute to boot. The craft works for kids age toddler and up.

M2 gave hers a bug eye.
Supplies
  • Cotton balls
  • Empty toilet paper tube
  • 1 Large pom pom
  • 2 small pom poms
  • Pipe cleaner
  • White construction paper
  • School glue
  • 2 Googly eyes
  • Glitter glue
Cut the construction paper to fit around the toilet paper tube. Glue on (parents can do this if the kid(s) are too young)
Glue cotton balls around the tube however desired
Glue on googly eyes
Glue on one small pom pom for the nose
Glue large pom pom onto the top as a hat. Add small pom pom on top
Wrap pipe cleaner around tube to make arms
Decorate with glitter glue
Lots of glitter!

  19. That's a great idea!!! I would have a backyard full of them, the dollar store should have tons of decos to help with creating one.
